My family went to D.C. in the mid-‘80s, and the Kennedy Center tour made a huge impression on me as a kid. I wonder if we referred to the center as its first name, the National Cultural Center, its loss would be more deeply felt.

Not entirely sure what the kerfuffle was over Rodriguez’s blast here in the Twins-Yankees game. It was foul by feet. Unless the home plate ump told him to run it out? But sitting on the first base line, I was confused why he even bothered to run. It wasn’t close to fair.

Allstate’s likely getting a check back for the on-court logos getting ripped off. But good on the volleyball players and staffers to do the work to prep the court.
Pros of playing volleyball at Wrigley Field: Cool environment, great crowds, great for the game!
Cons; sometimes the floor has a condensation issue and EVERYONE has to help fix it
