Yes, I’m crying, and so will you
You guys want to hear a short but adorable story that happened right in front of me at the baggage claim in NYC yesterday?

I wasn't part of it and there are bits I didn't catch but holy crap, I can't stop thinking about it.

Men Explain Rape to Me.

My 92 yr old narcissist amother just found a website that she really likes where you ask someone questions and they very politely explain everything. One lady even told her what an incredibly good person she is! She was not ready to find out how AI works and still believes it is a very wise lady.

There is a moment at the very very end of Abdul El-Sayed's podcast with Ezra Klein (book recommendation section) where he talks about the idea of "speaking truth to pain" and this will be staying with me for an extremely long time. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/25/o...

Why are they making women’s sports an issue? So they can destroy Title IX and protect rapists. Women’s equal access to sports created Title IX, which is used to protect women and LGBTQ+ on campuses. Title IX is what will be used in the Cornell case, if it is still around when they get to court.

Every man knows a man who has raped a woman. Many men are still friends with those rapists. Until Men (yes, ALL men) refuse to have a beer with a rapist, this behavior will continue.
MEN need to take this issue more seriously than they currently do. Men continue to rape and dehumanize young women because their friends allow them to. They egg them on or look away. When will men stand up for women and make this stop?

I can see the end of a project I have been working on since 2019 and I am getting very excited! It’s always bittersweet to move on, but I’ve been cheating on that project with my new project for a while and it is time that we become monogamous.
