NPS assures us this is part of the 4th of July festivities and that the curbs will be replaces shortly.
Looking a lot like the Trump Administration is actively ignoring a court order for them not to dismantle the 15th Street protected bike lane, although the paint remains.

#BikeDC If you have signed our petition for protected bike lanes to the entirety of 11th St SE, now is a good time.

We're putting on the full court press to make this a reality and every signature helps.

ICYMI, we’ve heard now from several reliable sources that federal agencies may remove a substantial chunk of the 15th St NW protected bike lanes near the National Mall.

This is some BS.

Join us on Friday for a protest ride.

DC: Join us to ask @mayorbowser.dc.gov to return to a Safety First transportation policy & unfreeze paused bike-lane projects: waba.org/action-page/dc-safety-first/

@ddotdc.bsky.social has downgraded & paused bike lanes that would boost road safety, despite 8 traffic deaths already in 2026. #BikeDC
