On 9/11, we honor and remember the estimated 67 unrecognized undocumented immigrants who died during the attack and as many as 6,000 undocumented immigrants who worked at Ground Zero.
Their stories are part of our history.

After 9/11, thousands of rescue and cleanup crews went to work at ground zero. They were exposed to toxic debris and experienced psychological trauma. Today, many say they live in fear of deportation.
