First book of the last quarter of 2026 was another absolute delight. Grim Tidings is easily my new favorite BK Borison. What a beautiful examination of life, death, and love. I would read 100 more books in this series

First book of the last quarter of 2026 was another absolute delight. Grim Tidings is easily my new favorite BK Borison. What a beautiful examination of life, death, and love. I would read 100 more books in this series

As usual, the prose was gorgeous and the magic system was interesting and complex. The consistent pacing kept me interested in all the storylines across time and I love every single one of the characters. If you’ve never read Rebecca Ross I think this would be a great place to start.
I feel so fortunate to have gotten an ARC of A Bittersweet Spell. Rebecca Ross never disappoints, but it stands out to me as her most well rounded work so far. The only downside to getting to read an early copy is having to wait extra long for the sequel.

I’m halfway through my ARC of Rebecca Ross’s next book, A Bittersweet Spell, and it’s so good. If I had one complaint about Wild Reverence, it was that the pacing was off at times. The format of Spell makes the pacing really tight. I’m compelled by every part of it so far.

My ARC of See You Next Tuesday had me giggling and kicking my feet. Best When Harry Met Sally inspired book that I’ve read. I loved the character development and all the politics. The author said this book is Fearless era and I 1000% see it. Highly recommend

We are having a powerpoint night with friends on Saturday so I decided to make a presentation of Luna’s Top 12 Top 5’s- 12 lists of her top 5 favorite things (toys, snacks, people, places to walk, where she liked to be scritched etc) with pictures and it’s very healing ❤️🩹

If you want to know what losing your dog is like, tonight my spouse and I took the regular walk we used to take with Luna around our neighborhood and we got choked up at her favorite spots to poop 🥲

Today is MY World Cup final
We lost tuna to a really aggressive cancer yesterday that we didn’t even know about until it was too late. We learned at the vet on Tuesday that a cancerous tumor on her spleen had ruptured Monday night causing massive internal bleeding, about 50% of the blood from her veins was in her abdomen
After giving us a huge health scare last week, we got to take Luna back on a walk today :)
