The Climate Prediction Center's October precipitation outlook is looking almost exactly like what we expect when we have an El Niño climate pattern. The southern states are expecting to see a wetter than usual October while the northern states can expect a drier October.

Temperatures today will be warming up thanks to a southerly breeze. Highs will likely top out in the low and mid-70s today. And with today's warm up, we'll also be seeing dewpoints climb which will make it feel muggy later!

The sunrise from the top of Mount Mansfield was stunning above the clouds!🌄

But those low clouds just below the summit kept most of us from seeing the sunrise this morning. We'll hold onto the clouds again today, but we should see some more breaks of sunshine than yesterday!

For the day today most of us will be in the upper 50s and low 60s, similar to what we had yesterday. Then over the next couple of days we'll be warmingup again! High temps on Thursday will reach the low to mid-70s for most of us.
