There are roughly 2000 tool libraries (i.e. a "library of things" where you can borrow a lawn mower or knife set or stapler for free) worldwide. It's also suprisingly easy to set up your own.

Being curious about the contours of ethical bankruptcy is still ethical bankruptcy. Having a rigorous debate over say whether women deserve equal rights doesn't make you smart. It makes you an asshole who thinks such matters are actually debatable.
SF's billionaire-backed Hamilton Society, an extension of the Bay's right-wing tech scene, gathered 700 people to debate whether the US needs a dictator. The vibes were as rotten as you would expect.

In case you missed it: Iif you’re giving your money to Starbucks right now, you’re officially crossing a picket line. The union has called for a boycott, and we respect the union’s wishes.
Don't forget: Starbucks is boycotted. The company has received hundreds of NLRB rulings against it and still has 550 cases pending. Corporate is refusing to finalize a fair contract. Meanwhile, their CEO makes $14,900/hr. Baristas are asking for $17.
