Ordered 5 eggs from the Promethea silkmoth (Callosamia promethea), but they hatched on the way.
When they arrived, only one was still alive.
Which of course became my main quest IMMEDIATELY.
He's grown into such a beautiful stripey boy (or girl) over the past five days.

There's an ongoing drought and there's the 2nd wildfire caused at a military training range within 10 fcking days, the other one was again at the same spot where they caused a fire last year too.
Who needs enemies when our own forces are doing such a swell job at destruction?

Because someone in the army thought it was a good idea to practise with a grenade during the worst spring drought in recorded history.
It broke my heart to see it with my own eyes.

As a kid I asked my parents about the moon landing and if they were excited. They didn't care, which disappointed me.
I'll watch Artemis II so future kids can ask the same, and I'll say I crammed the livestream in a corner of my screen while doomscrolling so they experience the same disappointment.

Cops in my country: Teaching man how to ride a bicycle at 2am
Initially, they thought he was drunk, because he was swerving on the bike lane, but it turned out the man was trying to teach himself how to ride a bike so he could cycle to his new job.
