Arsenal season ticket holder, give or take the odd tour of duty, since 1977. A bit of a sweary fucker.
We’re going to Highbury, We’re going to Highbury, And now you’re gonna believe us, And now you’re gonna believe us, And now you’re gonna belieeeve us…

Bournemouth getting Ball 1 can get in the fucking bin.

800 allocation will sting a bit.
Get in, Fleetwood away.

Fergie used to refer to squeaky bum time.

Now it’s full of bums time, and I’m here for it.

I hope that was a family member and not a date.

Was hilarious how this went last night.
If you wondered why you could hear the Arsenal fans going "whaeyyy" in the background near the end of the game last night. Here's why.

Do not let any apologist gaslight you;

HE IS EMPLOYING PEOPLE THAT DO NOT KNOW THE LAWS OF THE GAME!

Marli Salmon is a very special young man.

He’s not banging in goals and sending defenders for a hot dog, but he looked every bit as good as his partners tonight.

He turned 17’a couple of weeks ago. Defenders just aren’t that composed at his age.

And she absolutely owned being kicked out.

Loved that.
So many gooners sitting in the home end tonight 😂. One woman ripped off an Ipswich shirt to reveal her Arsenal one underneath!

Lovely job, we had them beaten in the tunnel.

Spent the last 20 laughing at all the Arsenal fans standing up in the home end and getting kicked out, one by one.

Same old Arsenal, taking the piss.

Ipswich bound.

Stuck in traffic on the A12, obviously.

Not having any of this ‘lost focus’, ‘too much information’ or ‘not rocket scientist’ bullshit excuses for referees or VAR.

You have to call it what it is, it’s sheer incompetence and insufficient knowledge of the laws of the game.

If it’s not that, then it’s corruption.

Change it ASAP.

Well, well, look at what they’ve got in stock at Costco.

One of the biggest problems with reading a Ronay article is the sheer amount of pretentious bollocks you have to wade through to find the thread of his point. Just reams and reams of metaphors, analogies and similes that tell me nothing more than just how far up his own arse his head is at.

Pro-ref (still PGMOL at Companies House) really need the Premier League.

Without its support , they are insolvent.

Using the Police Anti-Corruption and Abuse Reporting Service, during the year ending March 31st, 2025, police forces in England and Wales finalised 15,843 allegations of corruption against 8,031 police officers.

Maybe we could call Crimestoppers.

Lest we forget that this has all been going on for years, without improvement.

Lee Mason ‘forgot to draw the lines’ for an offside Brentford goal in February 2023.

We haven’t moved on much when they ‘forget’ to check the impact of an offside player attempting a diving header.

These referees are being paid six-figure salaries to do one job.

The most basic qualification for that job is that you know the laws of the game.

The head of the organisation is being paid a seven figure package to appoint the referees.

None of them are improving the game.
September 13, 2026 at 9:08 PM
£41.5m went through PGMOL in their last published accounts.

They made a loss on that.

How is that providing good value to the Premier League when you get weekends where the officiating has been like this?
September 13, 2026 at 6:13 PM
Some cunt is being paid £100k a year to say that Enzo Fernandez wasn’t interfering with play on that goal.

How is that an effective use of the money sloshing around the Premier League?
September 13, 2026 at 5:44 PM
Sky should be interviewing the Referee and the VAR after the game and asking them to explain why that offside was overruled imo.
September 13, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Howard Webb has appointed a VAR who doesn’t understand the laws of the game, and this has affected the result.

He should be sacked, but there is no anwswerabilty for this shambles.
September 13, 2026 at 5:18 PM
Matt Donohue is the VAR.

Shouldn’t be.
