Feel like this movie requires a very specific setting and attention for it to hit.

Put yer phone down, late night, lights off, all alone.

I wasn’t really vibing with it at first and was ready to sarcastically say “this could have just been a podcast” but I got into it and found it to be neat!

Splatter film classic that shines with Jennifer Aspinall’s sfx and wallows in filth and depravity

Definitely a standout in the current FF/mockumentary horror genre!

Takes a little to get going, but has a unique story and ends very satisfyingly.

Tapes this Friday on Ampwall & Bandcamp!

From Ivory Altar: The land remembers touch. Every harvest done with intention, as without it, it's an act of violence. Chicory beside chestnut, chestnut beside grape, grape beneath the long shadow of the olive tree. Cherish the Earth whose skin you are.

OTT overly convoluted Giallo madness. It was great aside from the atonal whistling from the inspector. I told him to stop it but he didn’t listen

Yep! It is really good.

The world that Damian McCarthy has built continues to be a wonderful lace to explore!

Phenomenally exquisite movie.

Grim and beautiful French vampiric folklore.

Highly recommended.

“May those who won’t open their eyes answer for our imminent woes.”

That line goes so hard, had to pause the movie to write that down

Weird one to react to, I liked the overall story and the theme/background is a great message, but the characters were just too annoying for me. Even with a save the cat moment a group of homophobic friends who can barely stand each other is a lot to “enjoy”

No matter how advanced they make the word guessing machine it won’t become conscious or take over the world.

It WILL keep making things worse though until they run out of money to shovel into it.

As awesome as I thought it would be. I thought I knew so much about this movie just from all the times it has been talked about but it has more that is rarely discussed.
NW: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)

Always been meaning to watch this. The time has finally come

Peak Polonia madness!

Highly recommend as a group watch!

Hell yeah!
We love an evil Vincent Price. If this want during Hays code would have rules if he got away with it.

Also absolutely love Eva Gabor’s velvet dress she wore in the film, my goodness

Really enjoyed this! Don’t think it needs the wrap around mockumentary, feel like the film itself stands in its own.

Would be really cool to have more films that had their own implied lore which just were presented as the film.

Feels like a movie made by pbs or bbc but not in a bad way.

Slow but very cool vibe and the music, which is really nice, helps the story along really well.

Lin Shaye rips in this movie. Worth the watch for her performance alone. Some other good moments here and there.

This was pretty neat cool concept and off putting.

Not sure how but I felt like the pacing could have been a little better.
