Favorites for 2025. You're god damn right it's mostly recency bias. I want to get actual backgrounds in next year, or (at least) ones with more than one color.

She dresses in a yellow doublet with slashing showing red cloth underneath, the red matching her left sleeve. An abundant slashed green cloth is worn over flowing yellow, matching her doublet. She has two rings on her hand. One side of her pants mimic her doublet, with the slashing terminating at the pelvis. The other side is flowing red with green strips, resembling a foreign style. The red cloth is pulled over and gathered at the waist. Her stockings are green and yellow with reverse-colored garters. Like most Imperials, her red shoes are slashed at the toes. A red-haired man sitting on a rock in a yellow field, with his back turned. The linework and shading is meant to resemble the Hades 2 game artstyle. He wears a helmet with a face-mask with gilding emphasizing the nose, mouth, brow, and the ridge of his helmet. A griffon with red wings is placed atop his helmet. His long hair is noticeably braided and curled. He holds a spear in one hand and a shield in the other. He is dressed in a yellow garment accented with red and blue over a hauberk, the end of the sleeves gilded. A horn is slung from his shoulder, made from ivory with gilded ornamentation. A landgriffon holding a spear is depicted on the gilding and around his belt, a somewhat ahistoric icon often attributed to Raginolf via fictional embellishments. Behind Gerlinde stands her wife, Enrica Hochdorfer, and one of their daughters, Brigitte Helfried-Merhengstburg. Brigitte has tanned skin with reddish-brown eyes and black hair. Brigitte's arms are extended, emphasizing her blue and gold armor. The tonlet notably resembles a pleated skirt. Enrica Hochdorfer stands behind Brigitte, complimenting her appearance. She is a lighter tan than Brigitte and Gerlinde with brown hair. Enrica wears a large hat decorated with feathers over a green cowl and a leather collar with gilded decor and pearl necklaces. Her gown is front-laced, the sleeves green bands over yellow with slashes showing another layer of green fabric beneath. Her pleated green and yellow skirt extends to the floor.

I miss the very specific case when trend-chasing copycats were called killers. It would've been awesome if they were making Souls killers instead of Souls-likes. Have an abundant amount of confidence, even if it's entirely unfounded.

I'll probably post something actually finished later.

Based off of a Youtube thumbnail I saw a while ago.
