Few things are as satisfying as getting an email that a $16 ebook on my wishlist is on sale for $2. My videogame wishlists have gotten so long that I barely register when things go on sale any more. But books? Oh man. Books. They're so neat.

Working my way towards the end of Star Wars Zero Company. Really excellent story with some great twists. I will replay it one day to get some of the character missions that I've missed. Hawks is a surprisingly compelling main character in the late game.

This. I genuinely love Halo. The game and the books were central to middle-school me. Halo 2 made me fall in love with Bungie, not just Halo. Seeing Bungie and Halo Studios decimated has been rough. I feel terrible for all the folks that got ran through - not many OGs left, but they all loved Halo.
I've always been primarily interested in the franchise for its lore, narrative, characters, and storytelling more than just the video games. It's much harder to be optimistic about those elements of the franchise if it looks like the entire story team is being disbanded permanently 😞

I doubt LLMs will become a digital genie or world-ending demon, but I worry one of these companies is inadvertently going to do a big cyber attack, in a publicity stunt that does more than they expected perhaps.

This is my most anticipated book this year. Reign of the Empire is must-read for Andor fans - it's basically Andor season 0. It is dark, horrifying, and graphic. The second book comes out Tuesday and takes place one year before Andor starts. Can't wait.

I really liked both of these books and am super grateful for more Leia stories. Eyes Like Stars had me rolling my eyes in the early chapters but really warmed up to it and now consider it an essential sequel-era story.

I swear to GOD. I spend 70 minutes cleaning my ABG (Asian Baby Girl, she's Japanese) in summer heat with every chemical accessible without an ENCLOSED SPACES PERMIT and 5 minutes later ITS ALREADY DIRTY AGAIN. I am going to COMMIT SEPPUKU after I CUT DOWN EVERY GOD DAMN TREE.

Great game with excellent acting from Vanessa Dolmen especially. The type of game people will mention in "hidden gems" threads for many years to come. It's not perfect but it's ambitious and incredibly sincere with its lofty sci-fi plot.

Had an on-call work thing late last night, accidentally passed out on my couch browsing books on my Kobo, woke up with back pain, missed my first alarm, barely made it to a dentist apt in time, had to schedule TWO more dentist appointments, and work has been insane today. I need a nap, and beer.

I'm at the end of a New Game+ run through Xenoblade Chronicles DE:S2E and there is a boss fight that is different in NG+ and you can actually lose!? And I'm realizing I'm totally unprepared for it with my build. I don't want to drop to easy mode just for a boss fight but omg ***** is a tough bitch.
