I despise Trump. I like making things: guitar amps, pedals, woodwork, software, DIY CNC of various sorts, cooking. Twitter account was binned some time ago - hoping for better here. #FBPE. #IStandWithUkraine, #TACO, #TeslaTakedown
#AI I've had a few feisty discussions with my daughter, who is studying Computer Science, over generative AI and AI coding in particular. As an engineer, though, I still think it's important to allow improvements in technology to let you be more creative.

World Cup 2026: How does Thomas Tuchel fix England for Euro 2028?
The manner of England's World Cup exit was meek, and Thomas Tuchel must now find a way to fix those problems as focus will soon turn to qualifying for Euro 2028.

I have no desire to just critisise players, but I can't understand why England have picked Shoaib Bashir again. It defies all logic. I wouldn't go there, but Archie Vaughan would at least add some batting depth. Even if he's not always in the first XI, at least he's sometimes in the first XI.

I often wake early and listen to Radio 4 Extra. 6.00am is the time for thrillers and whodunnits, and is usually entertaining. Sadly, this week the hour starts with Jeffrey Archer's "A Matter of Honour". I find myself distraught that this utter drivel is generally considered better than Dan Brown.
