Broncos Win!!! Final Score Broncos 5-1 Mustangs. The last goal is from Wisdom. A solid win for the Broncos, who just got better as the game went on. Not perfect, but if you’re going to make mistakes, do it in a game that doesn’t count.

That’s 2 in the books, and the Broncos have a 4-1 lead. Goals from Wisdom Neumeier, and Szydlowski. Besides a late breakdown on defense that led to a Mustangs goal, that period was all WMU. They were much more effective on offense, and held the Mustangs to 6 shots all period.

Now in goal for the Broncos, Gavin Moffat.

Man I missed this placed. At the end of 1, the Broncos lead 1-0. Power play goal from Cowan. It was a sloppy first period for the Brown and Gold, as they got off to a slow start, made little mistakes, and struggled on the power play till the end of the period.

I don’t know if it’s the case for all Canadian colleges, but I find it funny how Western Ontario doesn’t have to wear the cages on their helmets. It looks weird to have just one team wearing them.

WMU’s line chart for tonight. If I find Western Ontario’s I will post it. Benák and Cowan get the start on the first line. Väisänen and Crusberg-Roseen return to the lineup after injuries last season. Miller gets the nod in net.

I would give anything to never have to watch another smear campaign ad. They’re genuinely unbearable.

One exhibition before the regular season coming up. It is Gameday as Western Michigan takes the ice for the first time this season in an exhibition contest with the Western Ontario Mustangs.

WMU Hockey 26-27 Preview
October comes in the middle of fall, at a time when many things are changing. The trees turn to warm autumn colors, the weather starts getting a tad cooler, and baseball season comes to a cinematic close. But one thing that doesn’t change, is the return of Bronco hockey.

The Broncos announced the captains for this year’s squad. Zaccharya Wisdom will wear the C in his senior season as a Bronco. The fact that he earned the captain spot in just his second season at WMU shows a tremendous amount of trust from his coaches, and teammates. Congrats Wisdom.

I will never respect Bibberty. I would throw him into a wood chipper without a second thought.

I wasn’t able to catch much hockey last night, but congratulations to Owen Michaels on his NHL debut with Edmonton. My opinion on the team aside, it’s nice to see another Bronco in the Show.

The good news is the NHL is back tonight! The bad news is that it’s all on ESPN. Man I miss when NBC had the rights to the NHL.

Everything I’ve heard about the Mayich incident is such an indictment on Greg Powers and the entire ASU coaching staff. I feel so bad for Mayich’s family, and the players.

Why did this post get so many likes? I just like the Bears and mariachi. 🐻⬇️
Having a mariachi band play the national anthem at the Bears game just made my night. Case Keenum, Give Them Hell!

Take A Bow Case Keenum! What a great game from the Bears! If Caleb can keep the offense going when he comes back, and this defense plays like they did tonight all season, this team will be dangerous.

Happy with the lead, not with our red zone offense.
