Finished Project Hail Mary. Good book, I liked it, easy to read and got some strong emotions out of me.
That being said while the story was good I wish it didn’t feel as corny at times.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

I just read Shogun and it’s now one of my favorite books of all time. All the characters were great and a plot twist we’re shocking, but didn’t feel like it came out of nowhere

How can we keep the internet as authentic as possible in the age of AI.
I don’t mean people rewriting with AI but the bad actors who just automated spreading an agenda online.
My only idea is for a moderator to msg accounts personally and try to guess.
