If course he will. I will never understand how, in a (supposedly democratic) system that separates the judiciary from the government, a single man can pardon thousands of criminals, as if the USA were a medieval kingdom. No one should have that power. Perhaps it's time to rethink that as well.

My own amazement has ended a long time ago. They just don't give a single sh*t. Some are so intellectually challenged it's a wonder they're still alive and kicking. The others? Greedy hardcore opportunists and/or religious numbnuts with catastrophic "visions".
It amazes me that no Republican sees through this extreme hypocrisy: Stirring up hatred against ‘illegal immigrants’ whilst at the same time issuing a visa to a disgraced Brazilian politician whose papers have been annulled by the courts is utterly disingenuous and despicable.

It's very telling that the only part of Barack Obama's quip that bothered Donald Trump was the association of his White House with an American business rather than a foreign dictator. He probably took the Saddam Hussein remark as a compliment, given his fondness for authoritarian strongmen.
