The worst part about sketching with traditional media is that I can't just select that hand in a super complex perspective that came out *so good* and move it when it's in the wrong spot. Nope. Instead I have to draw that sucker completely from scratch. Again. 😭

I typically use my own hands for reference, but there's a lot of issues with that. Mostly because my hands are small, and I have short, chubby fingers. Not exactly helpful when trying to drawing men with big hands and long fingers. 😅
Ahaha. It's always the hands that hold up progress on an art piece. Man, I hate drawing those suckers. 😂

I think I made this character too handsome. I keep trying to work on the rest of the spread, but end up staring at the portrait bit because he's just that captivating. 😅

I really like where my art style is currently (though I'm going to keep working on improving, always) so I think it's time for me to put some serious focus into doing lighting studies. It doesn't matter how good your line art is if your rendering is crap. 😅

This is not complaining. I'm actually thrilled. Drawing/designing all these beautiful men makes me glad I took up art again. 🥰

Sometimes the hardest part of coding is figuring out how to math. I only avoided flunking high school math by the skin of my teeth because my mom was an excellent tutor.

I may need to put together a chibi size chart for all the characters in Hired by Aliens. It'd be both cute and educational. Because the height difference between the couple in book 2 is...impressive. Let's go with impressive. 😂

Ah ha ha. Maybe I should have practiced doing perspective drawing A LOT more before attempting an interior room background. At least I got started on this cover art early, so there's plenty of time for me to futz around and find out. 😅
