As ppl get their MFF lottery rejection notices, I’m reminded of a few years before Covid when I decided to attend, and then was able to easily book a room at the main hotel, less than 2 weeks before the con started. Ah, memories.

The Oasis Don’t Look Back in Anger rockumentary was biblical. So brilliant getting to relive last year’s tour and hype and excitement and get a behind the scenes look into it all and how Noel and Liam have reunited and get along so well. Pure joy. I can’t wait for another tour!!

Actually quite looking forward to the new Grand Tour, with its new hosts. The Throttle House guys are awesome and Francis Bourgeois is the right amounts of goofy and silly while being a genuine petrolhead.

Ah, self-employed life. I run payroll for myself each week through PayChex to automatically handle withholds & DD; use a CPA to manage taxes, and state & fed filings; use a wealth management company for a i401k. So yes, unlimited PTO and WFH is nice, but it takes discipline and organization.

Megaplex was just what I needed. Quality time with quality friends, relaxation, meeting new people, getting reacquainted with people, all the right kind of misbehaving with the right kind of people, exciting times, naughty times. Very glad I did this con.
