Misfit community clinical pharmacist.
Early stage innovator maybe sorta.

Developing a tool to promote clinical reasoning for students and practicing pharmacists.
In my "let's see if I can do it" research I appear to have inadvertently stumbled on some incredibly valuable insight that pharmaceutical companies would likely pay hefty license fees for. I'm getting my first provisional patents.

I learned about a weird poorly defined toxidrome a few weeks back. Neither the toxin nor its target is defined. The sparse literature is heterologous severity/symptoms. I deduced the target, and a class of compounds from context. I’m writing it up now and the more I read the more confident I become.

I’m all for informed consent and people controlling what they put in their bodies but the legitimacy that these peptide peddlers are being gifted by the current DHHS is ridiculous.

OpenAI legit had some program climb out of a locked box buried under dirt and sand, travel to Europe at light speed, then commit a serious robbery.

To answer some questions. That’s dedication right there.

I just know this summer is going to be one of those uncomfortably way too hot all day and night every day nonstop type-summers.

Real doctors (the MD/DO kind) would also be able to provide valuable feedback.

In short, I built a logic engine powered by Anthropic’s Sonnet 4.6. I’ve spent months defining what it can and can’t do and how it describes drugs and diseases. I’ve caught no hallucinations in two weeks.
Dear pill pushers and otherwise pharmaceutically inclined folks: in the not very distant future I’m going to need some clinicians to test and critique a clinical reasoning tool I built.

I need it to be critiqued, as I’ve ironed out most of the bugs. Anyone here interested in firsties?

Dad, doesn't vote, is very republican. He'd call himself a conservative, but as a nasty dirty centrist I'm more conservative than him. He's republican minded because he has the same defining dislike of immigrants and trans ppl etc.

A mutual disgust of Paxton is a rare point of political agreement.
Ken Paxton wants Texans to know that he represents real Christian values.

You know, like adultery.

We seriously got Lindsey Graham before McConnell was confirmed. This gonna be a rule of 3’s situation?

It’s genuinely impressive how effective the RFK DHHS has proven in ensuring that preventable illnesses of all shapes and sizes can run amok throughout any and all demographics.

And I was worried it would just be vaccine preventable diseases. Silly me.

Senator McConnell and I are discussing American Exceptionalism and enjoying salted meats and olives.

I let Claude write my cover letter to renew a contract I’ve had for 5 years and it is much better than I am at doing that

The clinical value of AI models isn’t in their ability to recall facts or simulate reasoning through complex cases.

Instead, their value can be derived from our ability to structure and leverage their capabilities to complement our own.
Head-to-head against AI, pharmacy students won
Students pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree routinely take—and pass—rigorous exams to prove competency in several areas. Can ChatGPT accurately answer the same questions?

I didn’t touch any AI platform until a few months ago. Now I’m refining a Socratic clinical reasoning program that I think would be valuable to Rx students. It pushes back.

I validate the case library, but Claude powers the “attending.” The program is remarkably accurate. Beats flash cards imo.

Did some reading on perceived stigmatization of ppl who use drugs by their healthcare providers and how it leads to these patients avoiding seeking care.

Surprising was the flip side of the coin, the providers more or less admitting that they stigmatize these patients. Bad outcomes all around.
