Meet Lampreyoss and the Kecinan variants of Tynamo and Eelektrik, some much more poisonous version of their Unovan counterparts.

#art #fakemon #pokemon #youtube
This variant of Tynamo is bulkier, taking on the look of a leech to embody its new typing and a heart monitor pattern on its side ties it to its poison typing. While Tynamo's Unovan form normally has no weaknesses, I made sure that my regional variant of it kept that. And while it now has two immunities, it still keeps that infamous lack of weaknesses. Kecinan Eelektrik is bigger and thicker than its Unovan counterpart, taking on a darker, moodier aesthetic than its energetic and electric cousin. Its look leans more into the semblance of a lamprey, a part of Eelektrik's base look. Its bulkier than its Unovan counterpart, allowing it to tank hits a bit better (not to mention its lack of weaknesses). Lampreyoss commits fully to the lamprey look compared to Eelektross. It dons some fierce tusks and a wild mohawk as well as a checkered dorsal fin to mimic the wild world of glam rock, a loud and bright music genre. Compared to Eelektross, Lampreyoss is much bulkier, favouring defensive stats over the infamous power Eelektross wields.

Emime and the different moods of Emogoo, some emotional slimes for my fakemon region.

#art #fakemon #pokemon
Emime is a slime, the type of enemy you'd encounter early on in most fantasy games. Emime is a slow tank of a first stage, capable of shrugging off most attacks even in early levels. Its defensive abilities give it an edge in combat, keeping it level while providing support. Chill-Willed Emogoo is inspired by various different slimes in fantasy media while embodying the more magical side of attacks. A Chill-Willed Emogoo is a bulky special attacker, making use of its abilities to stay alive and be wary to its opponent's advantages. Ill-Willed Emogoo is inspired on various slimes in fantasy media, aiming to embody the shapeshifting might that slimes are depicted weaponizing. Ill-Willed Emogoo is a bulky physical bruiser, its abilities giving it an edge on crit-heavy matchups so that it can stay at an advantage against weaker foes.

Mosquire, Bandito, and Culciknight. A bunch of knightly mosquitoes from my latest video.

#art #fakemon #pokemon
Mosquire's design is based on a mosquito mixed with a medieval squire. Lore-wise though, I imagine it to be based on the idea of whether or not a squire actually successfully becomes a knight, turning to banditry in the case that they don't. Bandito is a bandit mosquito, drawing from the femme fatale trope and a masked thief for its design. Its high speed and abilities ensure that it can bypass enemy defenses and priority to dish out high damage. Not so much take a hit though, like an actual mosquito. Knightly and just, Culciknight is a mosquito knight its proboscis a lance and its antennae colourful plumes. Culciknight is a tanky bruiser, prioritising drawn-out battles and staying alive while taking down its foes.

Lapilausk, the Lapidary Pokémon, an Ice-Electric type.

You can learn more about the design process in my most recent video on Youtube.

#art #fakemon
Lapilausk takes many inspirations, mummies, draugr, lausks, and crystal healing. its club is inspired by rock candy sticks. With high HP and attack, Lapilausk focuses on keeping itself alive with moves that restore its health and abilities that help to keep it from dying (plus one for a bit of flavour).

Capystor, the Divine Healing Pokémon. A Water-Psychic type.

Find out more in my latest video!

#art #fakemon #pokémon
Capystor is based on a silly idea of a capybara pastor that turned out quite well. Its design is inspired by catholic priest attire. Capystor is a highly defensive pokémon. With moves and that focus on keeping its allies alive, it makes for a decent tank and/or support.

Psycaro, The Holistic Pokémon. Psychic type.

You can learn more about it in my latest video on youtube!

#art #fakemon #pokemon
Psycaro's design is based on a mix of a witch doctor and the stereotypical doctor with a mirror on its head. Psycaro is a low speed, defensive pokemon that prioritizes the management and shutting down of of status conditions and priority.
