I recall people referring eelektross as hard to draw back then in my early days...
I can't say I agree, even with my bias. It's a tube with arms and fins, I doubt that's difficult.
(though maybe they were referring to specifically eelek TF, which would make more sense ig)

idea: eelektross migration as part of their lifecycle
tynamos raised in caves, until they migrate to the ocean to hunt like maniacs (evolved or not). then eeleks return to the caves to breed and maybe raise their young
