Just finished "The Butcher's Masquerade" (Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 5). The series has certainly ate up a lot of my video game time. 😅

Four Job Fiesta is great! Final Fantasy V is great! @translifeline.org is great! You know what else is great? The book "Final Fantasy V" by @kohler.bsky.social. It came out in fall 2017 and I finally did my first Four Job Fiesta run in 2018. Coincidence? Maybe. Who cares!? Read the book! #FF5FJF2026

One of the easiest Exdeath fights I've had. I think having Blink up a good portion of the time meant he kept missing me. Dancer with White Magic and a Ribbon meant an easy Esuna after Grand Cross. Lots of damage output from my party had him go down fast. Nice finish after WHM-only hell! #FF5FJF2026

Thanks to only being able to use White Mages until the Earth Crystal this year, my game time (14:49) has surpassed my final time from last year (14:41) and I've only just finished world 1. 😅 #FF5FJF2026

White Mage only is over! Next job is Knight and I finally get to use Dancer and Samurai as well. Still level 20 since I just ran from all the encounters after grinding for Byblos. Honestly, the only real challenge was Byblos. The rest of it was just slow going due to low damage output. #FF5FJF2026

White Mage only continues. Flamethrowers were easy. Second set of Rocket Launchers gave some trouble (confusing my party and getting a Protect and Cure) but not bad. Soul Cannon was slow and steady. Nothing has been nearly as bad as Byblos. Archeoaevis next then I get my other jobs! #FF5FJF2026

Defeated Byblos with only White Mages. Party was level 20, used 19 elixirs and took 2 hours 52 minutes according to the game timer. Where do I submit a victory picture for this one? 🥴 #FF5FJF2026

Lunch break ends with 32 Elixirs remaining. Probably been at the Byblos fight for about 55 minutes thus far. Going smoothly. Occasionally letting a party member die so I can revive them to get their level back to normal and restore their healing power. #FF5FJF2026

Taking a short break from The Adventures of Elliot to start my second attempt at Byblos with my White Mage only party. Worked at it for about 15 minutes during my work break and the extra levels I gained are definitely helping things go more smoothly. #FF5FJF2026

My White Mages are now level 20 and I have a stockpile of 38 elixirs. However, I think I'm going to take a bit of a break before taking on Byblos again since The Adventures of Elliot comes out tomorrow. #FF5FJF2026

Attempted Byblos at level 18 with 22 Elixirs. Fought him for at least an hour and a half before exhausting all my Elixirs and MP. I was unable to run him out of MP. More grinding required for my all White Mage party. 😭 #FF5FJF2026

The 4 White Mage run continues. Ifrit took forever. Really the most challenging part was not accidentally hitting him with the Healing Staff. I also heard Byblos is worse and you basically have to run him out of mana and that I should probably farm Elixirs first. Oh boy. #FF5FJF2026

Karnak castle was brutal with only white mages. Could only grab Esuna and the Ribbon, which I'm glad I did because my next job is Dancer... which means I'm stuck using only White Mages until the Earth Crystal. 💀 #FF5FJF2026
