I'm rewatching Strike Witches and I love season 2 episode 6 so much. Sanya and Eila relationship is super soft and adorable 😆

HGAW Gundam Leopard
It's on the small side, certainly a change of pace from the Gustav Karl, though they did manage to pack it full of gimmicks. The ball-jointed hips weren't much of a hindrance to articulation either.
Overall, I'm happy to see Gundam X getting solid kits again.

HGUC 264, FD-03-00 Gustav Karl Type-00, the name is about as long as this kit is chunky.
Rather than going with a simple remold, like the Gihren's Greed P-Bandai release, quite a bit has changed from the original 2019 kit. The legs in particular have received a ton of love.

Unsurprisingly, the HG is vastly superior. But for a non-Bandai kit from 2006, it is VERY respectable and gives you a healthy amount of respect for how far plamo has come. The beam rifle also has color-separated tubing, which actually puts it above the HG in terms of color separation.

For 72 USD it's pricey, but easily one of the best Ingram kits ever made. 1/48 scale, gloss-coated, full range of gimmicks, and has to be licensed from Headgear... so the price is somewhat understandable. Still, if you're a Patlabor fan, this is about as good as it gets.

Overall it's a decent kit, but I just can't help but compare it to the standard HG Barzam from 2017, which outclasses it in pretty much every way. A bit unfair since the OG Barzam was so exceptional it spawned the entire 30MM line, but I digress. Now I need an Aqua-Hambrabi reprint.

I'm still waiting on the expansion set to ship from Japan, but damn if this kit doesn't look and feel amazing.

I hope the other Xenoglossia designs get Moderoids since this was an excellent kit overall. A fun build, solid articulation, and a decent transformation.

I forgot to share this the other day... the stunning RG RX-78-2 Gundam build (based on the 45th Anniversary key illustration, and featured on this month’s Hobby Japan cover) was on display at Yodobashi Camera Shinjuku. 🔥
