Naomi Klein is a Canadian author, social activist, and filmmaker known for her political analyses, support of ecofeminism and organized labour, and criticism of corporate globalization, fascism and capitalism. In 2021, Klein took up the UBC Professorship in Climate Justice, joining the University of British Columbia's Department of Geography. At least they left most of their nonsense in. The only edits I noticed were my mentions of Israel's genocide. Gone, no surprise there. I have other stories about the panicky way BBC treated this book, involving booked and cancelled interviews and a recorded one that has not aired (hello Newsnight).
