RuneScape: Dragonwilds leaves early access today. Early access means people were paying to play it while it was still being built. The finished version lands on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day, and it is on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds leaves early access today. Early access means people were paying to play it while it was still being built. The finished version lands on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day, and it is on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
World of Warcraft: Forever is dated 4 November, and its beta opens 17 September. A beta is a test version you play before release.

World of Warcraft: Forever is dated 4 November, and its beta opens 17 September. A beta is a test version you play before release.

RuneFest 2026 is at the Birmingham NEC on 3 and 4 October. RuneFest is the fan convention for RuneScape, a fantasy world people play online together. Looking for the Chicago show? That is a separate Jagex event in June. Jagex named both back in January.

Three RuneScape dates just landed on our cross-game MMO calendar, each taken from the game's own posts: the Vulkan graphics beta on Windows on 7 September, Havenhythe Part II on 28 September, and RuneFest on 3 and 4 October.
In Old School RuneScape, the top entry in the right-click menu is what a tap or left-click does. Open the menu (long-press or right-click), press edit (top-right), and the up arrow puts your pick on top. That's Menu Entry Swapper 2.0, live on mobile and the game's own client from version 240.6.

Our cross-game MMO calendar just gained three dates. Final Fantasy XIV is at Tokyo Game Show from 17 September, Albion Online's Guild Season 34 starts 12 September, and Jagex's Dragonwilds Summit at Runefest is 3 October, a day we had been estimating until Jagex published it.
Our release tracker has 13 rows. Two have a day: RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0 on 15 September and Aion 2 on 5 October. Nine say TBA, because that is what each studio's own page says, and we would rather show TBA than a quarter somebody reported from an earnings call.

Our release tracker has 13 rows. Two have a day: RuneScape: Dragonwilds 1.0 on 15 September and Aion 2 on 5 October. Nine say TBA, because that is what each studio's own page says, and we would rather show TBA than a quarter somebody reported from an earnings call.
