The European Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, told the Canadian prime minister, Mark Carney, on Wednesday that she wants to open the door for his country to become the EU’s first associate member.

@aircanada.bsky.social, you disappointed today. You cancelled our September trip for 2 to Berlin. We bought travel insurance through the Air Canada website and now lost $292 CAD. I’ve been an Aeroplan member since 1999, but customer service can’t help. This feels wrong.
