No stream again this time, I am almost recovered and able to speak clearly again, but I have a doctor's appointment when I usually use to stream

Felling unwell. May not stream tomorrow

My telescope is mechanized, but not automated, so I need to learn patterns in the sky to manually aim it.

Usually I can do this on the fly, but sometimes it helps to plan ahead.

These screenshots were for practising spotting Tau Ceti and 40 Eridani.

Second astronomy stream was about a 60-70% success.
A few things did not work which was frustrating.

Making a few behind the scenes changes in the tech and target planning, might not use that location again as it also had issues.
Will talk about it a little more if I do a game stream this week

Skies are clear, all systems are go.

Astronomy night stream goes live in about 7 hours from now.

We have Venus (first) Tau Ceti (in the middle somewhere) and 40 Eridani (last), plus several other space objects lined up to point the telecope at.

Twitch is telling me that it's about one year since I first tried going live, when I pointed the telescope and camera at the eclipse that night.

Seems right to mark it during this next astronomy stream 🤔

My brain was being slow and not letting me do things today.
Turns out I was just too cold.

Date not yet fixed due to weather. Might be next Thursday.

We'll point a telescope at the space objects from #projecthailmary and see what we see. In between we'll look at a bunch more, plus chat about space along the way.
