something that bothers me about itchio removing all of these r18 games b/c of payment processors is that a lot of the games which were removed were free, meaning no payment processors would even be involved with downloading them anyway

my horror vn, sweetest monster refrain, was removed from itchio. it was only available on itch so now it can't be accessed anywhere. i didn't receive an email about this or any warning.

so itchio has shadowbanned any games tagged with 'nsfw', 'adult', or 'erotic' so they don't show up in searches, and several devs have reported that their r18 games have been removed from the site with no warning

But turns out they dont even show up IN TAGS WHICH IS WILD.
Also isn't the first one ( nsfw) also targeting games with dont contain erotica but have body horror which goes into nsfw category?
