My kind-hearted husband walked thru the door and told me he bought groceries for a young family. We're not even to the middle of the month and people are struggling to feed their kids. 17 years in the Navy gave him perspective on feeding a family on a fixed income. Note: he never voted for trump.

The sheer injustice in Houston is sickening. Lorenzo was just going to work to support his family when his life was stolen by ICE. Seeing his father on his knees, consumed by raw, agonizing grief, is a heartbreaking reminder of the human cost of systemic violence. He deserves justice.
