I suggest that Trump has never bought anything the way that the rest of us have bought things all of our lives. He has always had staff that buy for him. He has no personal experience at being a normal human being. And yet, he was elected twice.

Growing up, I lived in a neighborhood named Pimmit Hills just about 15 miles from the Kennedy Center. I attended concerts and musicals, each time experiencing performance heaven. My father sang with the Chorals Arts Society performing in the concert hall. My heart is a bit more broken by Trump.

It is economic stupidity to "round up illegals and deport them. My immigrant neighbors work very hard and willingly pay taxes, unlike the very rich who work less hard and avoid paying taxes. This stupidity is a result of bias against people of color, other languages and cultures.

Like in most democratic nations the societal problem has occurred due to full on capitalism It’s clear that system doesn’t work anymore, the oligarchs have taken control. Perhaps it’s time to move to the left and aim for a more progressive govt, one that doesn’t rely on trickle down economics?

For most Americans, corruption looks like higher prices at the pump, more expensive groceries, and less confidence that the food on the table is safe. For the Trump family, it looks like another fabulous day at the beach. Same country. Different worlds.
