A practical-bent Idealist. Every problem has at least one opportunity attached to it.
Isn’t that film industry primarily in Fulton and nearby counties? That part of Georgia is very blue. It is not like a move to northwest Georgia or southwest Georgia would make any sense.

Trump is so self centered that I doubt that he truly hates anyone. People are either useful to his schemes or they have no value to him if they aren’t onboard with his larceny and lying. It seems it is all about him, everyone else are characters that get plugged in or discarded.

The women at the spa got the book thrown at them. Money buys freedom from consequences, unfortunately.

37% of people approve of his actions. What the fuck is wrong with those people?
September 17, 2026 at 12:41 AM
True. That is why those of us that care need to realize that there are many important issues happening at once, and stop refusing to vote for more progressive people because they don’t press the button just right on one issue. The right has slowed down needed change, helped by discord on the Left.

I doubt that we convince people like Elon Musk. But we can fairly tax them and stop letting them hide income from taxes. Loans that they take out against assets must be taxed like regular income, force them to either take salaries that are subject to tax or sell assets where the proceeds get taxed

Exactly.

You only live once.

A’ja Wilson is the leader on points and blocks. It is a race between A’ja and Angel Reese on rebounds. Caitlin Clark is the assists leader, with Olivia Miles close behind. I don’t know the steals leader off the top of my head, but Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young should be near the top in that category

She will go onto the rightwing talking circuit and make $millions fueling their culture war machine.

Has Riley Gaines said anything about the 3 CIS women who beat the trans woman and her? Even if she had gotten the trans woman disqualified, she still would have not made the podium.

That depends upon the ethnic makeup of her boyfriend. Their kids could be like Patrick Mahomes’ kids, pretty much White, at 1/4th Black.

They will never trust us again the way they once did. Why should they? 78 million people voted for Trump in 2024 and around 72 million voted for him in 2020. That is a lot of fucked up people, many of whom will vote for future presidents - they can’t be trusted, and infighting on the Left……..

The large cities in Tennessee and the nearby suburbs. Plus places that successful citizen like the late Dolly Parton and others grew with investments. Vanderbilt University has built a reputation as a great academic and research university.

You may have some growing pains, but give it a year or so to settle in, after that it becomes nice. I have occasionally spent time there for work, I always enjoyed the scenic beauty and quiet culture of the state.

Even the ones that are making a show of moving their headquarters keep vital research functions in California. Plus for every one that leaves, four new companies that grow big seem to start up.

You noticed also.

From an organization that starts with “America First”. That is the signal that you are not serious about solving problems. You claim that businesses are leaving California, yet under Gov. Newsom, California has grown from the 5th to the 4th largest economy in the world. Where is your red state?
September 16, 2026 at 1:15 AM
6 of 8. Ohio and Tennessee made the list.
September 16, 2026 at 1:07 AM
Bingo. I really like what California has done with water conservation and building safe reservoirs under Newsom’s leadership.
September 16, 2026 at 1:06 AM
Why not?
September 16, 2026 at 1:05 AM
But, but, red state idiots on X call California a failed state. Maybe you can figure out how to stop sending them your state’s hard earned tax dollars.

I went to school at UF. That is a physically big campus with a lot of stuff going on. The medical school and teaching hospital with all the research labs is a massive, spread out complex. It would be impossible for even dedicated Nazis to shut down all important science on that combined campus.

Please stop writing that the Covid vaccine was a rushed effort. Nothing is farther from the truth.
September 16, 2026 at 12:36 AM
genetic sequence was mapped by scientists in Australia and sent out to the world, all that was needed was to take the vaccine model from 2013 and produce a vaccine, but Trump made the issue one about him and insulting China and wasted precious time, until Dr. Fauci and events forced his hand.
