EMERGENCY EPISODE: Harmeet Dhillon just announced the DOJ will deploy 1,000 election observers for the midterms. The DOJ wants you to think this is business as usual, but I break down why this deployment is laying the groundwork for what comes after Election Day. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZjB...

Now we know why they couldn’t use a cherry picker, like they did when installed it.

So they could cover it up with a tarp.

Odd.

Jamie Raskin @raskin.house.gov is so good.

Worth watching the whole thing.

Disappointing that more Dems can’t do what he can.

MeidasTouch: What do you make of this $1.776 billion fund—

Gavin Newsom: It’s a criminal enterprise. It’s not just corruption, it’s not just graft, it’s a full-on criminal enterprise and it needs to be shut down.

The people who should be doing this are Democratic political leaders.
This is exactly the way. Find some awful Jan6 story from your state, your CD, and start talking relentlessly about it, asking people if they want to pay that criminal.
Andrew Quentin Taak, of Texas.
Ask Cornyn and Cruz how they feel about paying off this man.

Absolutely right.

Can they do what’s right for the country and the state, or will their own egos get in the way?
IT’S TIME

Dear California gov candidates,

🚨 There are 61 candidates in this race. SIXTY ONE!

That’s how we hand the general election to TWO Republicans.

If you’re still in single digits, the window’s closed. If you care about the Democratic Party, do the right thing. Drop out. Be loud about it.

I came here in 1975. I'm a Nobel Prize-winning scientist born in Germany during WWII, came here in 1975 thinking there was no way fascism could take hold in this country. I was wrong.
I don't not want to be book-ended by two fascist regimes. We will stand up and set things right.
Choice words from Dr. Szostak here.

And while I am no Nobel Prize-winning scientist, I identify with the same quandary as an immigrant, moving here in 2009 and (proudly) becoming a citizen in 2023.

I, too, don't recognize that country anymore 😢🇺🇸🧳🛫.

Competitive Authoritarianism is an incredibly stupid term which actually sounds sort of positive because it’s ’competitive’ when, in fact, it’s anti-competitive.
In competitive authoritarianism, leaders abuse state power to tilt the electoral playing field in their favor, manipulate the media environment and minimize opposition voices, maybe even steal close elections by lying about fraud. But they usually can't overcome a large majority voting against them.

Dems not winning because of skill or leadership, but because of Republican insanity and incompetence.
Jeffries: "Consistently, for the last 15 months, Democrats have been winning elections all across the country, up and down the ballot ... as it relates to the parties being perceived as unfavorable across the country, we understand that dynamic, because the American people want to see action."

Yeah
We’re not broke. We can afford nice things. Our leaders instead choose an out of control defense budget and tax cuts.

No more.
$1.5 trillion defense budget (an increase of $500 billion) which includes $350 billion for an illegal war of choice Trump already lost.

Here’s what we can do instead:

$95 billion: free college for young people
$200 billion: free child care for families
$60 billion: free in-home care for seniors

The administration’s attempt to end birthright citizenship is bigoted, divisive, and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court must reject these conspiracy theories, just as it has for over a century.

The damage done by Trump’s corrupt pardons outweighs all the possible good done by every other US president in history, combined.

The pardon power needs to be repealed by constitutional amendment
The pardon industry has gotten so out of control it’s actually breeding more crime. One pardon lobbyist, Josh Nass, is now facing charges after allegedly shaking down a client for a large success fee. It’s an endless circle of crime and corruption created by Donald Trump. youtube.com/shorts/84jP9...

GOP congressmen do the same thing with their Dem colleagues
You know who’s a perfect metaphor for the GOP? Scott Jennings.

A pundit who mocks Trump with us during commercial breaks — but fawns over Trump when the camera is rolling.

It’s Macho-signaling
It's interesting how The Daily Wire attacks the idea that gender is a performance when their sets are all about gender performance. Look at the aesthetics here — the cigars and crystal decanter with Japanese whiskey, the black dress shirt, the tight suit with two-toned double monks and tie bar ...
