Tonight I joined neighbors from Biddeford and all over Maine for a peaceful vigil to honor Joan Sebastian Guerrero — a 26-year-old father shot and killed this morning by a federal immigration agent.

The line we have always been fed is “we have the best healthcare in the world”. While we have the most expensive, we don’t even make the list for top 25 countries based on life expectancy. USA, life expectancy is 79.4.
In Maine it is much lower, 73.8.
Time to completely overhaul the system.

Huge fight at home. I think weak Dems showed how weak the are by caving. My husband thinks it was the right thing to do and that making the Republicans vote down ACA funding will anger voters. Who’s right?
