Yeah, question 3 reads like a Venn diagram situation but clearly is not. Or a compound probability. Not that the student would have that knowledge but it might be why compound probability is confusing later.

I work in some schools that still have them on their doors! I’ll take a pic next time I see one. Mostly in the Bronx. (I’m a contractor so I don’t go to the same schools every day).

I’ve always been comfortable with all UK vernacular but I do sometimes wonder if people reading know what a plaster, torch, boot, bonnet, lorry, etc. are. So I think those are more important than the s/z and the o/ou.

I’m thinking people might need that if they are freaked out by the idea of what they all did in the movie, but other people might think it’s perfectly fine so they don’t need to think that might be the case (that the whole thing didn’t really happen).

There’s a part where they say “this is an invite” to our “activities” as a reference to the name of the movie and to distinguish it from the invitation to the dinner party.

Shopping straps! I have a Triple 5 Soul jacket from decades ago that came with shopping straps. And this whole time I’ve been lamenting the absence of them in coats rather than thinking of your brilliant idea.
