Me at the beach yesterday fishing with 4 beans who kept snagging their hooks so I spent most of the day stripped down and swimming out to all the stuck lures to free them, doing little spinnies and just enjoying doing otter things and being appreciated for being otter. A sea otter even swam by me.

I look at the internet these days and think "This just wants my attention and offers nothing meaningful in return." Then I go outside, spend time with lovely folks, or build something. This is better. Come for a walk in the rain with me.

Our community is in crisis and the government is not stepping up to the task. The medical and social services folks here need a signal boost and all the help they can get.

In a large hotell room with entirely bare walls, it is as though I am inside my partner's bone-rattling sinus cavity. Headphones make no difference. Mourne for me.

The crows have welcomed my partner and I back to the beach for another stroll. We saw two sea otters frolicking in the bay, but their merriment was not for photographing as they were only clearly viewable through binoculars.

I found my profile picture... right in my favourites where it belongs... after I redownloaded it from my partner's drive 'cause I couldn't find it... in my favourites.
