This is indicative of how out of touch the mainstream dems are with the American people. Not only do their hand-picked candidates keep losing to left-leaning candidates in the primaries but no one wants negotiations with a fascist regime. There is no negotiating with them. Just ask Carney.

Absolutely! If you are not in the country, or even if you are, please note that this revolution is not being televised. There are hundreds/thousands of weekly protests and resistance activities in every single state. Those of us involved are well aware of the global impact, we are working very hard.

You must be young, Leo, this is how it worked prior to Newt Gingrich. Tip O'Neill-D, speaker of the house 1977-1985, had breakfast with his Republican counterpart every single day to discuss legislation. Back then it was not a zero-sum game.

Agreed. I heard him speak in person earlier this year in the back of a bar in a small, conservative town. The place was packed and he was very impressive. His message is spot-on.

I kind of, sort of believed that Democrats and Republicans had been working together for the past 50 years. But I thought this time was actually different. I guess not. We need to vote, but now that there are zero consequences to straight up lying, it will be hard.

From my POV, this is just another transfer of wealth from people to corporations. Sure, the corporations may get their money back, but I don't see it getting refunded to the consumers who actually paid it. And I am not counting on prices dropping much if the tariffs are actually removed.
