Arc 2 is about a countergrain lone wolf-ish gal who tries to carve her own path. This arc is Ongoing. A few examples of panels are placed next to commentary "don't be nice to her or she'll judge!" and "glasses 4ever!" a digital collage of cover and comic pages for my Like a Dragon Gaiden fancomic, My knight in shining armour, featuring Shishido/Tsuruno. Other annotations on the image include: 'join my rare pair fandom brainrot...?', 'Tsuruno: I can fix him', and 'angst, trauma, violence, blood, abusive past...' a digitally written and drawn smattering of concept art for my upcoming coming, Stuck in the Middle. There is commentary "everyone wear glasses!!" written near the top. A sample cover is visible; underneath the cover is the comic description : Mesha, a millennial service designer, is newly promoted to a manger role. Withou formal training, will she sink or swim?! Coming to sitm.dirchansky.com in 2026-2027. Next to the cover are four character portraits for Mesha, Mason, Ladi, and Cardigan. Some character facts and relationship dynamic arrows are placed around them. The top-right portion of the drawing includes some strange anthropomorphized figures of various office-related tasks.

what causes this? well..
a large cyan bubble reads: Event organizers that aren’t curating vendor spaces, prioritizing broad appeal over focused markets. and charging vendors way too much, forcing vendors to do what it takes to break even. a medium magenta bubble reads: Event goers that are resistant to engaging with original works, and create a market where big IP is what sells. We need to make sure we’re directing the frustration at the right people. Most of the responsibility falls on the show organizers more than the artists submitting their applications. It’s the show’s responsibility to curate their vendor/artist alley for the type of show they want.
