Caturday art post. After visiting Thiebaud “Art Comes from Art” at Legion of Honor SF, I started playing around with sketching cat lady version of his “Supine Woman.” 😹😹 I don’t do people so please excuse proportions etc.

Caturday Art post. I did this little 9x12 watercolor of Mika as a kitten. Mika was adopted by my friend. I found him at our club last year. A few days later, he lost half his tail! He had surgery to repair the remainder. He’s a sweet boy 🩶🐾🩶

Caturday-heading home from Keauhou, Hawaii. I learned about Vanilla, Abalone, & Salt Farming on great tours. No beach snorkel due to coral spawning. Night Manta Ray snorkel made up for it. Happy to go home to best boy, Regis. (He’s not over the election, either.)

Honoring Greyson this Caturday. The Cat Distribution System, a neighbor, a litter of kittens and this very shy grey cat became mine. Fast forward 4 years, neutering, and $3K of dental surgery and great food-11 lb poster boi is 16 lb chonk.

Meet Max. I trapped for TNR but he went from “I will kill you!” to “Love me, I’m adorable.” It took only a few days for him to start showing his true self. He will be looking for his perfect indoor home. 🧡🤍🧡🤍 If only he could tell me his story - Max how did you end up a starving stray?

Does anyone else get a Handmaid vibe from this? Dragged ink soaked string between folded paper then added watercolor to what I saw.

Watercolor and charcoal 2017. Sadly it seems appropriate once again.
