Horrific that I know this but he (or whoever) has used that expression before to describe the mayor of London, Romney, Karl Rove, and probably others in the last few years

Hackensack iirc

Agreed he’s perfect as the 7th defenseman. Strange they waived him but perhaps he’ll clear at this early juncture with most teams healthy

Said he left his presidential ballot blank in ‘24. As he’s in CA it’s nbd but well, not to Wesley Crusher from Star Trek tng

Exactly. After completely eviscerating whatever absurd argument they *started* they always go “let’s agree to disagree” or “let’s stop discussing politics” as if it’s an equal both sides thing.

With a big assist from the old Russian movie Battleship Potemkin.
DePalma has some of the most memorable set pieces of the last half century for sure.

He still has that cheesesteak place in the east village right?
October 4, 2026 at 1:51 AM
Def the general. Nomination was weird though, def turned with the evangelical voting on super Tuesday.
October 4, 2026 at 1:49 AM
Yeah it seems to have a very mixed reaction but I’d rather Hollywood take a big swing and miss rather than marvel universe movie number 78
October 4, 2026 at 1:47 AM
Ah my bad I thought the play-within-the movie had a musical element
October 4, 2026 at 1:40 AM
I think it is revealed that what you think is taking place in the movie is the dress rehearsal for a play. Then it ends up a real climate emergency to the characters in that universe.
October 4, 2026 at 1:39 AM
That is apparently the twist yes
October 4, 2026 at 1:29 AM
I checked the print edition. Nowhere to be found.

He’s been a regular in Mike Flanagan stuff for the last decade so it’s not like he’s d list. So disappointing.
October 3, 2026 at 4:35 AM
The former press secretary and Harp certainly had/have the “I did it all for you” look on their faces often
October 3, 2026 at 12:41 AM
Agreed - and to the other person that responded, I only read the online version. I haven’t read the print edition in a decade. I am basing my over/under on where they buried the story of his chief of staff saying the president is a fascist. I expect a similar end result here once it’s printed.
October 3, 2026 at 12:36 AM
Over/under on what page it’ll be on in the NYT is 23.5
October 2, 2026 at 11:15 PM
Yes

I believe Palmer Luckey’s sister is Matt Gaetz’s wife.

Incredibly this was done in France less than 50 years ago for real
October 1, 2026 at 9:27 PM
73 pitches a week ago and takes him out after 70. Inconceivable! He was pitching great. Empty the tank at 110 pitches then go to Whitlock/Chapman.
October 1, 2026 at 3:22 AM
Why take Gray out after only 70 pitches? Made zero sense
October 1, 2026 at 3:16 AM
I’ve also heard the occasional “but her defense”
September 30, 2026 at 1:04 AM
Will be the first time a gm (son) fires his dad in baseball history I guess
September 29, 2026 at 8:44 PM
I still have “and he’s on-lee a soph-o-more” in my head often
