Both Orlando and his father were inducted into the inaugural class of the Salón de la Fama del Béisbol Puertorriqueño in 1991. Eight years later in 1999, “The Baby Bull” earned his plaque in Cooperstown. The Latin Baseball Hall of Fame made him a charter member in 2010.
