It’s time to give up our claim to the Falklands. At the very least any benefits from the oil discoveries should go to Argentina. It’s a battle not worth fighting, especially as we couldn’t mount any credible defence of the territory.

I have a decent pension and a nice house in the Home Counties. I do not want a single penny of taxpayers money to be spent on my social care when I’m old and frail. I’ve had enough from that pot already - so spend it on the young, not rich old people.

About 2/3rds of my feed is about Farage today - a typical day. And this is before America wakes up and makes 90% of my feed about Trump. I’m getting pretty bored with Bluesky these days. Am I the only one?

This Carol Tregorran story is boiling my piss. Why won’t any of them listen to her? She’s telling everyone as loud as she can that she wants to stay mistress of her own life, and absolutely no one is taking one bit of notice. It’s beyond tedious.

It’s infuriating! As a Labour member Burnham MUST have known that he was *disqualified* from standing as a Parliamentary candidate until May 2028 - when his mayoral term ends. So why? This kind of antic is why I did not support him in 2015 when I voted in leadership election!
