Smoked some ribs yesterday. My very first time doing ribs in any way ar all ever and I think maybe third time smoking meat.
Was the result at the quality I wanted it to be? No

I've been trying a few different water flavouring products to try and make it easier to force myself to stay hydrated and I got one that tastes enough like Cottee's Coola that I don't think hydration is gonna be an issue for me any more.

My sister having children has only reinforced that I don't want any of my own.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with my nieces that I'm aware of. They're not uniquely difficult or labour-intensive.
It's just a LOT of work and attention that I am very much NOT built to provide.

I can 100% tell that there's significant variation in human genetics because my 3yo niece is being presented with a whole-ass lunch box of assorted snacks and foods and she's all like "No eat, only play!"

Missed out on Slightly Problematic Age Gap shenanigans in my 20's and given how much of a NEET I've been in my 30's I think the realistic scenario at this point is taking up shuffleboard and hooking up with the youngest widow at the retirement village.

Found a handful of animations of a couple where she's fully a head taller than him and gloriously thick and unfortunately the probability of running into a well-fed Amazonian lass who could put up with me is not looking great so far.

I have all the audio in Rimworld turned off so I can play videos and stuff off to the side without overlapping sound, but then I play a Rimworld video and flinch every time the alert sound plays in the video.
