I promise, this is the last time I’ll do this this week. But I don’t have many other options—plus, it makes me want to keep fighting, despite the collapse of the freelance landscape.

On Patreon or Ko-fi, feel free to leave a tip if you enjoy my threads, ship design story, and other sci-fi antics.🖖

I am very proud of our time travel audio comedy #NightTerrace. I think it’s very good and funny, and you can get it here:

I don’t plug it often because we’ve been struggling to finish a third season for many years. But I’d love more folks to enjoy the first two seasons.

I'm an iNat fan, and a regular user for personal and research goals. This is the first I've heard of this project. It's an admirable goal, and an important goal that can potentially advance biodiversity knowledge and conservation efforts. But I think there are a few issues to think about here... 🧵

It's spring in the northern hemisphere, the flowers are blooming, the sun is peeking out and the bugs are starting to emerge. You know what that means, don't you?

It's almost time for #InverteFest!!!

Share your #invertebrates with us April 24-30.

It's not quite #InverteFest yet, but since this is basically the whole premise of InverteFest, I'll make an exception and share it early.

Go find cool bugs, have fun with friends, and contribute to the conservation of those cool bugs.
Nothing brings people together like the joy of finding a cool bug. You and your friends can be part of real conservation research, all while meeting the wildlife you can help protect.
