1) I challenge anyone who believes this or says this (notice, two different things) to define communism and point to examples in this country. 2) Mike Johnson's party controls all branches of Federal government and has for a long time.
Mike Johnson: "We are now quite literally locked into a contest to determine whether we're gonna keep our republic, keep the country as it is, or break this down to the foundation and go down an entirely different road toward communism."

FIFA's decision re: Balogun isn't a good look but it is far from unprecedented. The way the rule is written allows them to Calvinball availability. In most cases, they do so to maximize spectacle and viewership at the World Cup. This instance of FIFA corruption just happened to include Trump, too.

The full explanation is "corruption." That's all, man. It's not any deeper than that.
I think the initial red card was a bad call and I’m very glad to have Flo Balogun for the Belgium game, but man… I don’t love this decision from FIFA. Without a full explanation of the process and similar rulings for other teams, this feels like questionable. No transparency.

ROSEN: 'Pharisees' is a problematic and historically weaponized term that casts Jewish communities as morally corrupt. You said it today. Words matter. How do you justify using this language?

HEGSETH: It's a pretty accurate term for folks who don't see the plank in their own eye. I stand by it.
