I was on Japanese radio for the first time via the most popular hip-hop program in Japan.

Thank you to Takehiro Furuki, Isaac Y. Takeu, Sakura, DJ TY-KOH, Tokyo Beats Foundation, and J-WAVE 81.3 FM.

Tokyo, I love you!

I made one of the wisest decisions of my recent life when I chose to spend this summer in Japan.

The scale of what I documented, produced, saw, and experienced will take years to fully understand and articulate, and I look forward to sharing an enormous amount of footage soon.

Japan inspires artists and creators of all kinds through intention: beauty, craft, discipline, history, design, nature and relentless attention to detail.

It has challenges and limitations, but creatively, it constantly reminds us that excellence can be a way of life.

I think about Japan multiple times per day and remind myself that it is a truly rare, remarkable, highly influential, complicated, and inspiring country; like all countries, it has flaws, tensions, and contradictions.

Most people postpone their most meaningful goals and ambitions because they quietly assume they have unlimited time.

They do not. None of us do.

Someone is taking their last breath right now with a long list of regrets.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.
