Inflation sizzled in September — and Social Security benefits will get a boost
Consumer prices in September jumped 3.7% from a year ago. The Social Security Administration said benefits will increase next year to help keep pace with the rising cost of living.

Looking back at 9-11, seeing facts about the u.s. war disaster in the Middle East today... Thinking... seems like bin laden succeeded. Those planes were the first dominoes and us has been imploding ever since. And I still believe Don't Look Up deserved the Oscar.

It feels strange that humanity dreams of finding life on distant planets while forests here vanish every day. A forest takes decades to grow, to cool the air, protect wildlife, and create peace—yet only moments to destroy. The most important world is the one we already inhabit.

One trillion of our money spent to bomb Iran, 300 billion more in reparations to Iran because an uncool reality tv b-level celeb hated that a clever treaty that cost $0 was forged by a man with creamy colored skin. Racism isn't just stupid. Racism costs everyone (except the rich) $$$.
