The FAIR Act is primarily a backlash to Initiative 83, which overwhelmingly approved ranked-choice voting and semi-open primaries in DC.
I don't support every initiative that has been proposed in DC, but sabotaging the process for all initiatives and referenda is anti-democratic and anti-Home Rule.

Usually, when a lender lends you money, it's because they think you will be able to pay it back. Not in this case.
