Hallo! This here will be my main thread for my personal #FFXIVWrite2026 fills which I plan to share on my AO3 page. First chapter is the ToC, everything will be tagged accordingly and updated as I go. <3

I forgot the embargo's lifted and so... This, right here, had me screaming. She could have simply said "The Unsundered" but no, she said "Lahabrea and the other Unsundered", and I fucking love that. It fits right in with my headcanon that WoH (like I suspect WoM too) worked closely together--

It sounds like you already know this, so hopefully I can simply add encouragement: what you write doesn’t have to be presentable at all! Heck, I have some entries where people stop mid sentence because that’s all the energy they had, and it counts 💛 Consider this to be a rough draft challenge
And I know it ain't got to be perfect, but considering I'm dealing with a lot of other sources of burnout and it is also my first year? I'm just glad I've been writing everyday even if it is only just a couple sentences!

Because I'm a spreadsheet sicko, I made a little cheat sheet for the various noun/adjective forms FFXIV uses for people and places. I'm sure I've missed some, but these were the ones I was able to quickly find in the lorebooks and the wiki!

I think Aliara would invite people she's met on her travels or just comes across on the road, in the city etc. Ask them about their lives, their craft, get to know them. Lyngsath's favorite recipe, Aunt Tii's life story, Maxima's favorite hobby and that sort of thing.

Aliara had a hard time even processing what he said because it made no sense to her that a parent could act or talk to his children like that. She has a... naïve and almost romanticized concept of what a parent is or should be because she never had any of her own. But she also puts her own 1/2
