“Repeatedly spin the wheel” is also a very Red play pattern: it’s the first color I’d expect for this design, mechanically. (Given the randomness of the output being an answer to the repetition of play issues tied to having a nonpermanent in the CZ, I could see this being text first, flavor second.)

They 100% *should* have, but no, they're not going to. Was a decision made ahead of Lorwyn Eclipsed (i.e. the first meaningful influx of new kithkin cards in 15 years), and they decided to keep them separate.

Also Prodigy! Animated kids show, following an eclectic group of adolescent aliens that find a crashed prototype ship outside of federation space. Follows up on some of the voyager cast the way PIC did w/ the TNG cast. (Dunno overall fandom reception, though it only got 2 seasons. I quite liked it.)

The fun thing about this one is it batched a class type they'd stopped using by this point (Barbarian, which did not return again until 15 years after Coldsnap) with the two types that collectively replaced it (Warrior and Berserker).

They announced (tentative) dates for all seven 2026 ban windows back in November - in absence of an announcement we can probably assume those dates will stand. Next window would be March 23rd.

A creature card that went from one type to four got a recent printing with all of the errata updates, so it's not entirely off the table.

The book takes place a year prior to the set (presumably Lorwyn Eclipsed into Secrets of Strixhaven are pretty close to back-to-back), and these four are first-years, so they wouldn't have enrolled yet.

You're replying to a comment about the Yankees being treated as a power based on past success that doesn't reflect how they've performed since, citing titles from that past success isn't a counterargument. NYY has won 1 title in the last 20 years (in 2009), they haven't been a power for a while.

Near as I can see from a scryfall search (I also don't play MTGO), Doctor Who seems to be the only non-Secret Lair UniBey product without its mechanically-unique cards on MTGO.

Cutter, Rage, Abuelo's Awakening, one of Heartfire/Manifold. Maybe Beanstalk and Hopeless Nightmare, depending on how aggressive you want to be about potential second-order issues and/or general rotation of overstayed archetypes. Hit the most brutally fast decks to allow more room for meta churn.

Two, off the top of my head: Teferi (Niambi) and Urza (Harbin). Angrath is a dad, but neither of his daughters have cards (yet). I guess depending on how you count Ugin's relationship with Tarkir's dragonstorms, he's kind of the dad of at least the dragonlords, but that's fuzzier.
