Well, guess I'm going to be getting a bit more comfy over here.
Hi, I'm Quinn (she/her). I draw, I write and I have ADHD so the schedule on which I produce any work on substance is variable af.
FFXIV, survival horror, D&D - you name it, I obsess over it.

Didn't pre-order Silent Hill Townfall because Remedy owns my soul and f disappointed me but I'm 👀 at everything I'm hearing about it. I hope I regret not pre-ordering when I finally get to play 😂.

New Resident Evil movie:
I have gripes but it's so nice to finally have a RE movie that goes on the general rewatch list ranger than the 'bad movie night' one 😭
It's the best RE movie yet and honestly probably where we peak.

This infuriating attitude shows up on the bookshelves in learning environments, too. We expect girls to empathize with boys, but we kneecap every opportunity to let boys empathize with girls. And look where we are.
Pixar’s scrapped film ‘BE FRI’ reportedly had a similar tone to ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’
A former staffer claims Disney felt “little boys couldn’t see themselves in it,” allegedly saying, “We can’t have a girl power movie.”

I think I finally understand what comfort series means.
I thought Resident Evil Requiem was ok. Just ok. Fun. Not in my RE top 5. Or 10. But I am excited about the series again. Yeah it didn't blow my socks off. But it still reminded me of how much I love this series. [1/3]

I'm struggling to decide if Silent Hill f is actually a good game cause I'm enjoying it but also feel low-key conned that I signed up for psychological survival horror and got a dark fantasy game that isn't actually scary 🙈.
I feel like the Silent Hill label is actually harming my enjoyment.

I have come to the conclusion that I am, in fact, solar powered. Weeks of rain and clouds and I'm lethargic af.
Two days of sunshine and I'm ready to run a marathon.
(Disclaimer: this is hyperbole, please don't make me run a marathon)

This remains, by far, the best description of FFXIV endgame raiding I have ever seen in my life.

I needed some writing prompts for some exercises and pulled out my ideas doc and it's literally a few pages of ideas ranging from detailed paragraphs to a few barely intelligible words 😅.
Help.

"ai makes art accessible" is an argument i hate to my fucking bones. Art is EASILY accessible, I'd argue it's the cheapest most accessible hobby because all you need is a pen and paper.
"yeah but not everyone has skills" no everyone has the skill, you just need to put in the work
